Prepare Your Mix: Before bouncing down your project, make sure that your mix is well-balanced and all the individual tracks are EQ’d, compressed, and processed appropriately. It’s crucial to have a solid mix before moving on to the mastering stage.
Choose the Right Format: Decide on the format you want to bounce down your project in. Common formats include WAV, AIFF, set sample rates of 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. at 24bit.
Set Proper Levels: Ensure that your levels are not clipping and that there is enough headroom for the mastering engineer to work with. Aim for a peak level of around -6 dB to -3 dB to leave room for processing during mastering.
Label and Save: After exporting label the file clearly to indicate its contents. Save in a separate folder dedicated to this version of your project.
Check for Accuracy: Listen to the mix to ensure it sounds as intended and that no elements are missing or incorrectly exported
Share track: Once you have verified the accuracy of your track share the file with us for further processing.
